I was retained to represent a client who was charged with Eluding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and related traffic offenses. The case started in New Jersey Superior Court but was downgraded. My client was a law abiding citizen who had, in actual fact, merely been distracted while he was driving. The case was resolved with a guilty plea to a two point speeding ticket and a local ordinance violation of failing to obey a police officer. This was a good outcome and I was pleased to be able to negotiate this plea agreement with a very fair minded prosecutor.
